Privacy policy

Your photos and tech packs stay in your browser.

Jakji (the “Site”) values your privacy and complies with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. This policy explains what information the Site handles and how. The Korean version is the official one; if they differ, the Korean policy prevails.

Feedback

‘Send feedback’ collects the message you write, an email address if you want a reply (optional), and — only if you agree — device info (browser, screen size, current view and chosen item). Garment photos and work content are never sent.

Feedback is delivered to the operator's mailbox through the form service Formspree (privacy policy) and may be kept on its servers for a period under its policy. We use feedback only to improve the service and reply, and delete reply email addresses on our side within one year of handling. Send deletion requests via Contact.

My styles and share links

Work saved in ‘My styles’ (including photos) is kept only in your browser's storage (IndexedDB) and never sent to our server. Clearing browser data deletes it.

A ‘Share link’ compresses the tech pack (without the photo; cost and margin only if you choose) into the part of the link after #. That part is not sent to our server, but anyone who has the link can see its contents, so check who you send it to.

1. Information we collect

The Site has no accounts and does not directly collect or store personal information such as names or contact details on a server.

2. Photo recognition

Default (on-device): when you upload a photo, a recognition model runs inside your browser to pick the item, details and color. The photo is not sent off your device. The first time, the program and model files are downloaded from jsDelivr and Hugging Face, which may receive connection information such as your IP address. Downloaded files are cached in your browser and can be cleared in its settings.

Claude (only when opened inside claude.ai): the photo is sent to Anthropic through your claude.ai account and handled under Anthropic's policy. Otherwise photos never leave your device.

3. Browser storage

The following is stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and cache, never on our server. Clear site data in your browser settings to remove it.

Files downloaded with ‘Save file’ (.json) are stored on your device and include the reference photo, so be careful when sharing them.

4. Cookies and ads (Google AdSense)

The Site may show Google AdSense ads to cover running costs.

You can refuse cookies in your browser settings; some ads may then be shown as non-personalized ads.

5. External services

The Site loads fonts and programs from jsDelivr and model files from Hugging Face. These services may receive information such as your IP address.

6. Your rights

The Site keeps no information on its servers that identifies you, so there is no separate data to view or delete. Information in your browser can be deleted at any time in its settings. Send privacy questions via Contact.

7. Children under 14

The Site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the update on this page with its effective date.
